In February 2010, Shaykh Afeefuddin visited California where he was invited to present a variety of lectures. A highlight of the trip included an American sister who took shahada. The trip began with a majlis with Sidi Yahya Rhodus and Syed Mubeen Saifullah. On the following day, Shaykh Afeefuddin delivered a khutbah at the largest masjid in the San Francisco Bay Area. That night, his first public lecture was done at the same masjid. On Saturday, Shaykh Afeefuddin conducted a full day workshop on the Eminent Morality of the Last Prophet.
